Fundraiser Concert & 2024 Season Launch

We’re hosting a lunch, putting on a matinee fundraiser concert and announcing our 2024 season on Saturday, November 18th!

Taking place at the beautiful Lakeshore United Church in Goderich, this will be an afternoon filled with a wide range of excellent music interspersed with program announcements of our 2024 Season.

Lunch: 12:45-1:45

Concert: 2:00-3:30

Stay tuned for our concert lineup!

All are welcome, admission is by donation.

Suggested minimum donation for the Concert: $20

Suggested minimum donation for Lunch + Concert: $40

What’s for Lunch?

Lunch will be an exciting array of classic UCW Church Sandwiches and Bakery Goodies!

What are we fundraising for?

As a charity we strive to maintain and improve our site/programs without placing the cost of improvement on our camper families. We have 2 significant capital projects we are fundraising for, with construction already begun!

  • Finishing our Renovated Health Centre

  • Adding a second side to our Climbing Wall to increase our climber capacity and climbing options.

Will the Concert be Livestreamed?

Quite possibly! We are still confirming this.

Will there be Gift Cards or Merch Available for sale for Christmas Gifts?

Yes!

Is the venue accessible?

Yes! We will have an elavator operator on-hand to assist.

Camp Close-Up Day

Volunteers Needed to help us Close Up the Camp for the winter!

Drop-in on Saturday, October 21st anytime between 1-5pm to help us close shutters, put away picnic tables/canoes, and take down nets etc.

Hope you can make it!

ORCKA Canoe Training & Certification Course

Calling anyone who wants to improve their Canoeing skills!

We're bringing in an ORCKA Canoeing Instructor for a weekend (May 6th & 7th) to teach Canoeing basics levels 1-3 at Lake Wawanosh (25 minutes from Camp in ACW) and have a few spots open to the public!

Now Hiring - Part-Time Graphic Designer

Thanks to the support of the Canada Summer Jobs Grant we are pleased to be able to hire a part-time Graphic Designer onto our team from October 2021 - January 2022!

Position Requirements:

  • As per the grant, applicants must be below the age of 30 to be considered

  • Possess knowledge of design and summer camp

  • The ability to work from home using your own technology

  • Preference will be given to those with design experience and education

2020 Online Fundraiser Concert

Premiering on Friday, November 27, 2020 and available for the whole weekend, the Camp Menesetung community is coming together to share their musical gifts in support of camp after a difficult summer.

This free-will-donation fundraiser concert will feature a variety of performances and will premier on YouTube as an unlisted link available in the event ticket to our supports to enjoy at any time they please throughout the weekend!

We have an awesome Hallowe'en party in the works for campers with online trick or treating (with real treat prizes!), costume parade and a space to hang out with all the people who make camp awesome including many of your favourite counsellors (but will you be able to guess who they are when they are in costume!?)!
